Her work as bar manager at Portland’s Rum Club helped it earn the title of “One of the Best Bars in America,” by Esquire Magazine.
Sophie Thomson - Owner / General Manager
Sophie Thomson’s innovation and enthusiasm drove her success as Food and Beverage Director at two of the city’s premier music venues: Mississippi Studios/Bar Bar and Revolution Hall. With a dedicated career in service since her early teens, Sophie’s vision for Hey Love is built with love and years of industry experience.
Roscoe Roberson - Chef
Roscoe Roberson brings over 20 years of experience to Hey Love, most recently serving stints as Executive Chef with Sage and Chefstable restaurant groups. Born in Tucson and raised in New York, Roscoe learned to cook from his grandparents, finding joy in the cuisine of the southwest and his grandparents’ southern roots. He attended culinary school while doing an apprenticeship with Starwood at the Westin La Paloma. In 2005 he moved to Central Oregon to helm the acclaimed Kokanee Cafe in Camp Sherman. Roscoe has been an integral part of Portland's restaurant landscape with projects such as Racion, Coopers Hall and Loyal Legion. And he’s just the best.
Aaron Hall & Nicholas Musso - Owners / Facility Manager & Community / Events Director
Nicholas Musso and Aaron Hall are the brain trust behind Dig a Pony, a mainstay of Portland’s vibrant nightlife. Aaron is a native Portlander and a fixture of the city’s music community. His work as founding Music Director at XRAY.fm helped lay the groundwork of the station’s current success. Nicholas is in high demand driving the aesthetic at some of Portland's finest eating and drinking establishments, including Victoria, Cat’s Paw and Dig A Pony. His expertise in design and construction has helped define Portland’s dining aesthetic.
